An aerobic class is a high energy and fun fitness class where you perform a range of aerobic moves shown to you by our motivational instructors! No matter what your age, ability or experience, aerobics class is an inclusive activity suitable for everyone.
A low impact aerobic workout in the water, designed to tone and shape. Suitable for non-swimmers. Aqua Aerobic classes are a great way to mix up a traditional gym workout with the wondrous benefits of water. It only takes a few aqua aerobic sessions to see a difference in your overall fitness.
Also known as water aerobics or sometimes waterobics, typical classes will involve all the exercises you would expect in a ‘dry’ class. But there are added bonuses when you exercise in water.
Aqua Jogging offers you all the benefits of running but with less impact on your body. In short, it offers better results for less work. It’s also ankle friendly, which makes it perfect for runners recovering from an injury. That’s not the only benefit aqua jogging has over its land-based counterpart. Water is denser than air so you work harder and burn more calories, the pressure of the water helps your heart pump blood around your body. So if you are a runner already and recovering from an injury, or if you want a good workout for less effort, then try aqua jogging.
Aqua Jogging classes last about an hour. Be prepared to use your arms, hips, and legs continuously as you jog in the deep area of the pool. Your first class a qualified instructor will take you through the basics, such as how to fit your equipment, and how to get the most out of your workout. Buoyancy Aids are provided.
Low impact exercise that uses water pressure to help keep you fit. Suitable for pre or post-natal. Aqua natal exercise is great during pregnancy, helping to maintain your fitness and strength whilst controlling your weight too. Maintaining fitness during pregnancy will help you cope better with the birth and speed your return to full fitness following birth!
To achieve fitness, your skeletal, muscle and nervous systems work in unison to provide the co-ordination, energy and sufficient oxygen required. The fantastic thing about water is that whilst your body is submerged all these systems can work better together, in a more integrated way, than on land.
An energetic aerobic workout in the water. Our aqua plus class works you harder than a normal aqua class and is suitable for non-swimmers.
Perfect for those looking to make a splash by adding a low-impact, high-energy aquatic exercise to their fitness routine. Aqua Zumba® blends the Zumba® philosophy with water resistance, for one pool party you shouldn’t miss! There is less impact on your joints during an Aqua Zumba® class so you can really let loose. Water creates natural resistance, which means every step is more challenging and helps tone your muscles.
This class works on your core muscles as well as helping with balance exercises in order to improve posture and an overall wellbeing class.
A full body workout involving muscular strength and endurance to help shape and tone your muscles! Body Conditioning combines cardio and resistance work to an energetic beat to work out your whole body.
With a range of exercise techniques that includes aerobics, floor work, weights and resistance training, you are guaranteed a varied class that will hit those areas that other workouts miss.
Boxercise is based on the different training techniques used by professional boxers, but without the risks associated with physical contact. The high-intensity nature of the workout means that you burn fat quickly, and the quick succession and repetitive motion of the movements tones your muscles.
Boxercise takes elements that professional boxers use in their own training. And while classes may vary, a typical one will involve:

Callanetics is a series of low impact stretching and contracting exercises that activate the body’s largest muscle groups, using tiny, gentle, precise movements, called pulses. They are done very slowly, reaching deep into the muscles to give you a strong, firm body, without adding bulk.
Cardio Tennis is a high energy fitness that combines the best features of the sport of tennis with cardiovascular exercise, delivering the ultimate, full body, calorie burning aerobic workout. Most women can burn 300 to 500 calories per hour and men burn between 500 to 1,000.
Increase your strength and burn calories with this fast paced, high impact class. Work your way around a circuit of timed cardio and resistance exercises for a killer full body workout. Participants can expect to burn 600 calories in an hour.
Clubbercise® – simple, fun dance fitness routines using glow sticks to club anthems from 90′s classics to the latest chart hits taught in a darkened room with disco lights.
Because of the high and low impact options Clubbercise dance fitness classes are great for beginners and fitness fans alike. One class burns around 600 calories.
Dance your way to fitness – If you love dancing and keeping fit, then Dance Fit is for you! Not dissimilar to aerobics style sessions, Dance Fit will keep you energised and will combine dance moves into standard fitness classes.
The Easy Line collection is designed for the millions of people who want to lose weight and improve their health and physical condition, but are intimidated or dissatisfied by traditional strength training equipment especially when combined with large crowds. Our Easy Line classes are held in a studio and are included with your membership. The Easy Line equipment uses hydraulic resistance pistons to provide extra support while exercising making it ideal for users of all ages. Nine separate pieces of equipment create a unique 30-minute circuit training area that offer participants cardiovascular and strength training with a high rate of calorie expenditure.
A low impact aerobics workout, done on a gym ball. A great way to strengthen and tone your body. It can also be used for weight training. The ball, is often referred to as a Swiss ball.
A modern martial art suitable for all ages.
A high energy fat burning workout designed to shape, sculpt and burn calories using kettlebell weights.
Wear out your cowboy boots with this fun dance-based exercise class.
Who says you have to jump, grunt, strain, and punish your body to get amazing results from your workout? Not with PiYo…PiYo combines the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of pilates with the strength and flexibility advantages of yoga. We crank up the speed to deliver a true fat-burning, low-impact workout that leaves your body looking long, lean, and incredibly defined.
Pilates is a combination of yoga and tai chi, 34 moves composed by Joseph Pilates used for rehabilitation to elongate and strengthen particularly in relation to back issues. Pilates is designed to restore the body’s balance; so much more than just building a ‘strong core’ or ‘perfect posture’. Exercises involve the whole body and are performed on a mat or sometimes utilising small equipment.
A step aerobics session typically consists of sets of choreographed movements performed on a raised platform. The movements are usually accompanied by music and are designed to work the lower body, upper body and cardiovascular system. Exercising with an aerobic step provides several fitness benefits that can help you in other sports and in daily life. Regular sessions will provide both cardiovascular and muscular endurance. Incorporating both upper and lower body movements together will improve your coordination and agility, and the constant push up onto the step will increase leg strength.
Tai chi, also called Tai Chi Chuan, combines deep breathing and relaxation with flowing movements. Originally developed as a martial art in 13th-century China, Tai Chi is today practised around the world as a health-promoting exercise. While there is scope for more rigorous research on tai chi’s health benefits, studies have shown that tai chi can help people aged 65 and over to reduce stress, improve posture, balance and general mobility, and increase muscle strength in the legs. *** If you are new to Tai Chi or have done it for less than 12 months – then you must book on to an Introduction/Beginners class only***
Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues, such as ligaments, bones and joints of the body. Yoga practised in the West is mostly yang or muscular in nature. Yin is practiced with the muscles relaxed and the postures held for a few minutes. Yin postures are floor postures that primarily work the hips and lower back. Yin is characterised by gentle traction, stressing the ligaments to maintain their length and strength.
Yoga is the perfect combination of movement, focus and breath in a practice designed to improve your body and mind. It is non-competitive and available to all body types and ages. Invigor8 offers a range of different yoga classes from gentle classes for flexibility to stronger classes designed to build strength and stability, whilst still retaining the integration of the physical and the mental. Each Invigor8 yoga teacher has his/her own style which means you will be able to find a yoga class that is perfect for you and your needs
Perfect For everybody and every body! Each Zumba® class is designed to bring people together to sweat it on. We take the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. A total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class. ‘Come and join the party’ !®

H.I.I.T. (High Intensity Interval Training)
Don’t be fooled by only a 30 minute class, you will be put through your paces by your instructor – it will be hard, it will be fast and it will be exhausting but your fat burning benefits will carry on up to 24 hours after the class.
Forget everything you think you know about high-intensity workouts. Because INSANITY® turns old-school interval training on its head. With INSANITY® you work flat out in 3 to 5-minute blocks, and take breaks only long enough to gulp some air and get right back to work. It’s called Max Interval Training, because it keeps your body working at maximum capacity through your entire workout.
The Metafit™ is the original 30 minute, non-choreographed, bodyweight only HIIT workout. Metafit™ can be used as a group studio class, Bootcamp or a one to one training session, It’s tough, that’s why it gets results! Metafit is not a home workout or available on DVD, it is a class taught live by qualified coaches.
Indoor bike classes
A high energy cardio workout using stationary fixed wheel bikes to build strength and stamina. What is indoor cycling? Indoor cycling is an organized activity with a group fitness format. Classes focus on endurance, strength, interval, and high intensity training using the stationary bike. The indoor cycle that evolved from the stationary bike is designed with a heavy weighted flywheel, chain drive, and friction resistance offering an experience similar to that of a road bike.
A high energy cardio workout with exercises on and off bikes to build strength and stamina. Our instructors will be there to ensure that you get a tough all over body workout not only on the bike.
Run in Wirral
Improve fitness, relieve stress, lose weight and feel better about yourself. All abilities welcome, we take Couch 2 5K to runners who are training for 10k’s, Half Marathons to Marathons. There is a need to book prior to your session. If you are attending the sessions at Frankby Cemetery (Booked via West Kirby Concourse page on the app) or Birkenhead Park (Booked via Europa Pools on the app). We are a Run Together group.
